The Grand Hotel occupies a fantastic location looking right over the Torbay seafront and as such offers majestic views. Being the only 4 star in the area the hotel attracts a most discerning clientèle and the service offered reflects this.

The Gainsborough Restaurant has acquired a formidable local reputation for great cuisine utilising the best that the county of Devon has to offer from the lush farmlands to the abundant seas. The imaginative menu and relaxing room combine to offer a great place to enjoy a romantic meal for 2 or indeed an impressive business function.

Should you need nightcap or a place just to watch the world go by pop into the Compass Lounge where the experienced bar staff will conjure up a variety of cocktails or suggest a glass of fine wine as well as numerous local draughts and foreign bottled beers.

For the business guest, The Grand Hotel can comfortable accommodate up to 300 delegates. The main conference room has the latest state of the art equipment, while the highly trained team offer efficient and professional service.

For the more active guest this 4 star Torbay hotel has a series of excellent facilities including; a 15m swimming pool, jacuzzi, sauna, sunbed as well as a multi-gym.

Should the weather permit especially during the summer months one can cool down and relax by the outdoor pool while the children enjoy the play area.
